Driving (or Not) in Saudi Arabia

The New York Times has an op-ed here describing the fight Saudi women are waging to gain the right to drive.  The interesting thing in the editorial is the description of all of the ways that not being able to drive make life incredibly difficult and demeaning for women.  My comment:

Dear Saudi Arabian Sisters,

I thank you for the great courage you are showing in working to overcome this demeaning and unjust driving ban.  You're an inspiration to me, and I'm sure to women all over the world.  Most of us deal with prejudice of one kind of another but I'm not sure any of us are called upon to show the kind of courage and resourcefulness that you are showing now.
