here on the kinds of issues that arise over the topic of grandparents babysitting. Be sure to look at the comments. Personally, I think anytime we care for someone else, our own life gets richer and more satisfying.
Yeah, not to mention the great fun of reading to toddlers. I miss reading Dr. Seuss and "flap books," where I get to ask, "Where's the sun?" and the toddler lifts the felt flap gleefully. Oh, those were the days. Now I have teenagers . . . and I still read to them.
