Common Core English Standards

The Wall Street Journal has a column here arguing that the math standards of the common core are valuable, and Republicans should get on board and start supporting the common core curriculum.  This is a subscription only article, and you might have to find a back door in to read it.  I found one through a google search.

I don’t know this writer, but everything he said mirrors my own experience teaching English.
