Billionaires who "kick down teachers and students"

The Huffington Post has a column here excoriating billionaires who “kick down teachers and students.  It asks “Who is next?”

I am always disheartened at pundits and policy makers who make big salaries themselves but are shocked--shocked!--that teacher unions want decent wages and benefits for their members.

If you want good teachers, who can create good schools, you have to pay them well, support good teaching conditions (class size, budgets etc.),  and allow them to be creative and passionate in their teaching.

Unfortunately, we are rushing headlong in the opposite direction.
